Top 10 Web Advertisers

I wrote earlier about the world’s top web domains; here’s a list, via Nielson, of the web’s top advertisers for April, 2006. My takeaways:

Telecom (Vonage and Verizon) and trading (Etrade and Scottrade) dominate the list.

Top Web Domains

Interesting data from washingtonpost.com regarding the most popular sites on the web. Note that this data measures unique visitors rather than page views. A few observations:

Growth at MySpace, Wikipedia, and Blogger is astonishing.
Google may overtake Yahoo as the #1 site on the web within a year or two.
