I wrote an earlier post on a provocative question from The Edge: what is your dangerous idea?
Readers’ comments were great, as usual. I wanted to highlight a few, in particular:
- Terry Leach: “my most dangerous idea would be [that] science may be ‘running out of control’ and that man and computer will eventually merge. The soul of this new thing will not be from man.”
- Krissa responds to the ideas I originally posted: “The unknown becomes known, and is not replaced with a new unknown.” That will never happen. “The fight against global warming is lost.” That has already happened. “. . .Zero parental influence.” That will happen over this mamma’s dead body.
